Our family recently embarked on an incredible adventure to Moab, Utah, for a memorable July 4th weekend, and our stay at the Club Wyndham / Worldmark Moab truly made it an unforgettable experience! As first-time users of our Club Wyndham Plus membership, we were absolutely thrilled with this property.
Location, Location, Location!
One of the biggest draws of Club Wyndham Moab is its unbeatable location. We were just minutes away from the awe-inspiring Arches National Park, making early morning hikes a breeze. Downtown Moab, with its charming local shops and fantastic restaurants, was equally close, offering easy access to everything we needed.
A Resort That Feels Brand New
From the moment we arrived, the resort impressed us. It still has a wonderfully new and modern feel, which was a pleasant surprise. Check-in was a breeze, and we particularly appreciated that there was no onsite sales team, meaning no pressure for updates – just a smooth start to our vacation!
Relaxation with a View
The resort’s amenities are top-notch. The beautiful pool is a true highlight, offering an infinity view of the stunning Moab sandstone cliffs. It’s the perfect spot to cool off after a day of exploring and simply soak in the breathtaking scenery. For a quick bite or a morning pick-me-up, the onsite cafe serves delicious breakfast, coffee, and smoothies.
Dining Delights in Moab
Moab’s culinary scene is vibrant and diverse. We highly recommend exploring the local restaurants. Our mornings often started with excellent coffee at Mas Cafe, and for dinner, The Spoke on Center was a fantastic choice. And for an absolute must-try treat, don’t leave Moab without getting some incredible ice cream from La Michoacana Artisan!
Our Presidential Reserve Oasis: Unit 1311
We had the pleasure of staying in a 2-bedroom Presidential Reserve unit (Unit 1311), and it was simply amazing. The unit offered plenty of space for our family, and the great balcony overlooking the cliffs provided a serene escape. Everything felt new and modern, with a design that perfectly blended with Moab’s unique desert motif. The absolute highlight for our kids? The in-unit air hockey table! It provided hours of entertainment and was a fantastic bonus after our adventurous days. The unit was truly ideal for recharging after our hiking and rafting excursions.
EV Friendly and Ready for Adventure!
For fellow electric vehicle owners, you’ll be happy to know that Club Wyndham Moab is incredibly EV-friendly! There are 6 EV chargers available, shared with the adjacent Element hotel. This came in super handy for us, especially since we rented a Cybertruck on Turo to enjoy some thrilling offroading in Arches. It’s fantastic to see a resort so well-equipped for sustainable travel.
Planning Your Trip
We stayed for four nights over July 4th, utilizing 272,000 points for this incredible experience. We flew into Salt Lake City and rented a car, so be sure to give yourself approximately 4 hours for the scenic drive from SLC airport to Moab.
Our trip to Club Wyndham Moab was an absolute success, showcasing the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and family fun. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!
